Tibvino is rooted in Vazisubani, Kakheti. Our wines bring together the character of local vineyards, Georgian grape varieties and knowledge shaped by European winemaking practice.
The vineyards
Our Vineyards
Our vineyards lie on the western slopes of the Alazani Valley in Kakheti, on dry, limestone-rich soils. The rows run from north to south.
Traditional Georgian varieties — Rkatsiteli, Kakhuri Mtsvane, Kisi and Saperavi — grow alongside Muscat and Tsitroni.
Each variety ripens at its own pace and is harvested at a different time. This allows us to approach each harvest individually, with greater flexibility in winemaking and blending.

VAZISUBANI · KAKHETITibvino grew from Tiberi Dvalishvili’s personal journey in wine. His experience brought him into contact with European, and particularly Italian, winemaking culture.
Spending time around experienced Italian winemakers gave him practical insight into their approach to viticulture and production, and a broader understanding of modern winemaking.
He later brought this knowledge to Kakheti, connecting it with local vineyards, Georgian grape varieties and the region’s wine culture. His approach is to respect the wine’s origin, work with precision and keep the natural character of the grapes at the centre.

Our Approach to Winemaking
Our wines are produced in stainless-steel tanks under controlled conditions. Quality is monitored throughout production, supported by local laboratory testing.
We work to preserve the character of the grapes and produce balanced, expressive wines with clarity, structure and a distinctive aromatic identity.
Georgian wine culture is our foundation. With a contemporary approach to winemaking, we seek to express Kakheti with clarity, character and balance.
